Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Alfcode account and its personal data at any time. There is no form to fight with — one email is enough.

How to ask

Email privacy@alfcode.com from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my account. If you cannot send from that address, tell us which account you mean and we will verify it another way before deleting anything.

You can also send the request from inside the app, in your project's Messages thread.

What gets deleted

• Your account: name, email address and password.
• Your messages and voice notes.
• Files you uploaded.
• Your device tokens, so your phone stops receiving notifications.

What we keep, and why

Where you are a client of Alfcode, we keep the project record itself — the brief, milestones, approvals and invoices — because we are required to keep records of work we were paid to do, and because a project usually belongs to a company rather than to one person. Those records are kept for up to 7 years to satisfy tax and accounting obligations, and are then deleted.

If you want the whole company account and its projects removed, say so in your email and we will confirm what that covers before we do it.

How long it takes

We reply within one business day and complete the deletion within 30 days. Backups are overwritten on their own schedule and are fully cycled within 90 days.
